This mezcal is made entirely from espadin agave grown in the iron rich soil of the river town of San Juan. The agave is harvested above 1,125m and baked in underground ovens and fermented for 15 days. It is a smoky, vegetal and sweet mezcal produced by youthful distiller, Don Joel Cruz.
Perfect Serve: Neat.
Palate: Fruity, rich, smoky and pleasantly sweet.
