The Baumard Coteaux du Layon 'Carte d'Or' is a delicious dessert wine that is made from Chenin Blanc grapes in the Loire Valley, in France. The 'Coteaux du Layon' appellation makes some of the best sweet wines in the Loire Valley and the Baumard wines are known for having good acidity and structure, as well as being sweet. Between the Chenin Blanc grapes that have a higher acidity and Florent Baumard's passion for making fresher styles of sweet wines, the result is superb dessert wine experience.
