\nMina Real is the modern brand of the Distilleria Real de Minas, also producing Don Amado Mezcals.
\nIt is made by German Bonifacio Arellanes Robles without roasting the agave underground; instead they are steam cooked in traditional Tequila-like brick ovens. Crushing, fermenting and distilling are made slowly and carefully to express a clean yet balanced and elegant Mezcal. The agaves are picked at 4,672m of altitude; the fermentation is natural, using the surrounding yeasts; the distillation is made in clay and bamboo pot stills.
