Baumard Clos de Saint Yves in 375ml format — half-bottle of the single-vineyard Savennières.
Made at Domaine des Baumard in Rochefort-sur-Loire, just south-west of Angers; Baumard family ownership since 1634, organic-certified, Chenin-Blanc-led across Savennières, Coteaux du Layon and Quarts de Chaume. Same fruit and method as the 750ml — single-vineyard Saint Yves Chenin Blanc, unoaked.
Nose: Quince, white peach, lemon-curd, soft schist. Palate: Dry Chenin weight balanced by line-drawn Loire acidity, mineral structure. Finish: Very long, structured, citrus-and-mineral.
Pairing: Half-bottle format for tasting-menu service, by-the-glass programs, and cellar-list pairing.
