Our orange wine is made up of a blend of Chardonnay, Riesling and Sauvignon Blanc. The grapes are fermented on skins until the cap sinks, which is around 30 to 40 days. The resulting wine is barrel aged in neutral French and Hungarian oak for two years. This process concentrates the wine and its flavour profile.
The finished wine has orange marmalade and quince nose with spicy clove and cinnamon notes. Poached mandarins, apricots and papaya adds fruit to the complexity of the five spice and potpourri. Finishing bone dry with long and lineal acid.
