Crawford River Wines is a small estate in Condah (Henty, western Victoria) one of the southernmost and coolest wine-growing sites on the Australian mainland, receiving maritime influence from Bass Strait and the Southern Ocean. The Thomson family planted the estate in 1975; Crawford River Riesling is widely regarded as one of the finest Rieslings produced in Australia, developing exceptional longevity and mineral complexity from the estate's limestone-derived soils.

The Crawford River range is deliberately small: Riesling (the flagships Young Vines and the reserve tier), Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc, and Cabernet-dominant reds. The Riesling is the primary reason for stocking Crawford River at Bouchon at 5-10 years of age, Crawford River Riesling develops the petrol, lime oil, and slate mineral complexity that defines world-class aged Riesling, comparable to mature Clare Valley or Eden Valley examples but with the additional tension of the Henty latitude.
