Domaine A also known as Stoney Vineyard is a Tasmanian estate near Campania in the Coal River Valley, established by Peter and Ruth Althaus in the late 1980s. The estate produces Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, and Sauvignon Blanc from low-yielding vines on a north-facing slope above the Coal River one of the warmest and driest subregions in Tasmania, capable of ripening Bordeaux varieties that struggle in cooler Tasmanian sites. Domaine A Cabernet Sauvignon is considered one of Australia's benchmark cool-climate Cabernet expressions.

Domaine A/Stoney Vineyard occupies a singular position in Tasmanian wine: a Coal River Valley estate demonstrating that Cabernet Sauvignon can achieve genuine cellaring complexity in Tasmanian conditions, alongside the island's more widely known Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
