Dudognon (sometimes labelled Ragnaud-Dudognon on specific expressions) is a family estate in Lignieres-Sonneville, in the centre of the Grande Champagne cru near Segonzac. The estate produces cognac from their own vineyards on the chalk plateau, distils in traditional Charentais copper pot stills, and ages in old Limousin oak some from the family's own forest. The combination of estate-origin fruit, on-site distillation, and family-managed ageing oak is unusual at this scale.

The Dudognon range spans standard age grades through vintage selections. As a deep Grande Champagne estate with long-ageing stock, older expressions develop the hallmark rancio character the complex oxidative, walnut-oil, candied-citrus note that distinguishes very old Grande Champagne from younger or lower-cru cognacs. For on-premise programmes featuring vintage or long-aged cognac by the glass, Dudognon's estate credentials and documented Lignieres-Sonneville terroir make them a strong narrative choice.
