Crawford River Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

"John and Catherine Thomson planted Crawford River in 1975 in far south-western Victoria, in what is now the Henty Geographical Indication. The vineyard sits inland from the Southern Ocean coast at Condah, on cool, even-ripening sites that suit aromatic whites. The first vines were Riesling and Cabernet Sauvignon; a small winery was added in 1981, with extensions in 1994 and 2001.

Cellar-list bottle; pairs with slow-cooked beef and lamb, aged cheeses; lay down 8–15 years.
