Rocca di Frassinello 2017

"Rocca di Frassinello was set up as a joint venture between two of Bouchon's brief-listed anchor producers: Castellare di Castellina (Paolo Panerai's Tuscan estate in Chianti Classico) and Domaines Barons de Rothschild (Château Lafite). The estate sits in the coastal Maremma of southern Tuscany, near Gavorrano in the province of Grosseto, where Bordeaux varieties have been grown since the early 1990s.

Slow-braised beef, grilled lamb, venison and aged hard cheeses; a cellar-list Maremma red for drinking now through 2030.
