Pazo de Fefiñanes

Rías Baixas · Est. 1904

Pazo de Fefiñanes (Bodegas del Palacio de Fefiñanes) is one of the oldest and most historic Albariño producers in Cambados (Pontevedra, Rías Baixas) a 17th-century pazo (Galician manor house) from which Albariño wine has been produced for over a century. The estate is in the Salnés Valley sub-zone of Rías Baixas, the coolest and most Atlantic-influenced sector of the appellation, where granite soils and consistent sea-mist humidity produce the most aromatic and mineral Albariño expressions.

Pazo de Fefiñanes produces Albariño at multiple quality levels, including Albariño de Fefiñanes III Año aged three years in bottle before release, demonstrating Albariño's capacity for complexity with age. The estate's combination of historic provenance (one of the founding estates of the modern Rías Baixas DOC), single sub-zone production (Salnés Valley), and age-tier range makes it the most narratively rich Albariño producer in the Bouchon catalogue.
