Palacio de Fefiñanes Albariño III Año 2017 — the estate's cellar-tier old-vine Albariño, made to demonstrate the variety's ageing potential and bottled only in the best vintages.
Made at Bodegas del Palacio de Fefiñanes in Cambados (Rías Baixas, Galicia); winemaking on the estate dates back to the 17th century, with the brand bottled commercially since 1928. The Salnes Valley vineyards on thin loamy-sand soils over granite produce some of Spain's most distinctive Albariño. III Año is a serious, oak-influenced expression aged extensively on lees followed by extended bottle development.
