Weingut Dr. Bürklin-Wolf is one of the Pfalz's historic great estates, based in Wachenheim producing Riesling from Grand Cru-equivalent (Grosse Lage) vineyards including Wachenheimer Gerümpel and Forster Kirchenstück, the latter considered among Germany's finest Riesling sites. The estate has operated biodynamically since 2005 and uses the VDP classification system: Grosses Gewächs (GG) for its dry single-vineyard expressions, Ortswein for village-level wines, and the Hommage à Luise range for estate-level bottlings.

Bürklin-Wolf sits at the top of Pfalz Riesling: biodynamic viticulture, classified vineyard sites, and a clear quality hierarchy from village to single-vineyard dry expressions.
