Dos Maderas is a premium rum brand produced by Williams & Humbert, the Jerez sherry house, using Caribbean rum (from Barbados and Guyana) that is first aged in the Caribbean before being shipped to Jerez for a second ageing period in ex-Pedro Ximénez and ex-Palo Cortado sherry casks. The name 'two woods' in Spanish references this double-maturation in two different oak environments: Caribbean tropical ageing followed by the humid Jerez solera cellars. The result is a rum with Caribbean spirit character structured and sweetened by sherry-cask influence.

As a product of the sherry house Williams & Humbert, Dos Maderas benefits from the same solera infrastructure and cask quality that Williams & Humbert applies to its sherry programme. The Dos Maderas 5+3 and 5+5 age statements reference years in the Caribbean plus years in Jerez. For programmes building a sherry-adjacent digestif section or cross-category storytelling between rum and fortified wine, Dos Maderas provides the clearest product example of sherry-cask rum outside of specialist independent bottlings.
