Description
Carlo Pellegrino Marsala Fine IP — a dry Marsala from the Trapani cellars, in the Marsala Fine category (minimum one year ageing), suited to cooking and aperitif service.
Made by Carlo Pellegrino, a producer established in Marsala (Trapani) in 1880, producing Marsala DOC wines and other Sicilian fortified and sweet wines from the vineyards and cellars of the western tip of the island. Grillo and Catarratto from western Sicilian vineyards; fortified with grape spirit to 17-18% abv, blended with cooked must (mosto cotto) for colour and sweetness, and aged a minimum of one year in large oak casks per Marsala Fine DOC regulations.
