Description
Carlo Pellegrino Benjamin Riserva Oro Marsala Superiore Riserva — a gold-style Marsala Superiore Riserva from the Trapani cellars, aged a minimum of four years in oak for greater complexity.
Made by Carlo Pellegrino, a producer established in Marsala (Trapani) in 1880, producing Marsala DOC wines and other Sicilian fortified and sweet wines from the vineyards and cellars of the western tip of the island. Grillo and Catarratto; fortified and aged a minimum of four years in large oak casks per Marsala Superiore Riserva DOC rules, producing a deep, nutty gold Marsala with greater complexity than the standard Fine or Superiore.
