Description
Carlo Pellegrino Passito di Pantelleria DOC 500ml — a sweet Sicilian dessert wine from Zibibbo (Muscat of Alexandria) grown on the volcanic island of Pantelleria, made from sun-dried grapes.
Made by Carlo Pellegrino, a producer established in Marsala (Trapani) in 1880, producing Marsala DOC wines and other Sicilian fortified and sweet wines from the vineyards and cellars of the western tip of the island. Zibibbo (Muscat of Alexandria) from the volcanic island of Pantelleria, harvested and sun-dried on racks to concentrate sugars; slowly fermented with residual sugar retained for the Passito style. 500ml format.
