Made at Cantina Tramin in Tramin / Termeno (Alto Adige), a growers' cooperative founded in 1898 in the village that gives Gewurztraminer its name; the estate farms 260 hectares on steep volcanic porphyry and limestone terraces and is recognised as one of Alto Adige's reference producers for aromatic whites. Lagrein from Alto Adige DOC member vineyards on volcanic porphyry soils; fermented and aged in large and small French oak for 12+ months for the variety's characteristic dark fruit and firm tannin.
