On the palate

Named after Andrea di Pec, a revered 16th century teacher of viticulture who shaped some of Friuli's most prestigious agricultural land, and whose legacy endures in the name of the estate. 100% Pinot Grigio from Collavini's vineyards in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Harvested at full ripeness and pressed immediately to retain freshness; fermented in stainless steel vats at a controlled 14-16C for approximately two weeks. Gently fined and matured on fine lees until the following spring for added texture and complexity. Pale straw with coppery highlights and a varietal, floral nose with characteristic hints of citrus fruits and white flowers. Crisp and beautifully balanced on the palate with delicate savoury notes and a long, elegant mineral finish with a touch of spice. 91 points, James Suckling 2026.
