Description
Collavini Pinot Grigio Canlungo — the estate's Friuli-DOC Pinot Grigio, named for the Canlungo single-vineyard parcel, a more structured and food-driven expression than standard Delle Venezie.
Made at Eugenio Collavini Viticoltori in Corno di Rosazzo (Friuli Venezia Giulia), a family winery founded in 1896 and now run by the fourth generation; Collavini works across the Friuli DOC, Collio, Ribolla Gialla and Grave appellations with a focus on Ribolla Gialla and the native Friulian variety range. Pinot Grigio from the Canlungo vineyard in the Friuli DOC; skin contact and lees ageing add texture and breadth to the variety's natural citrus and stone-fruit character.
Lemon zest, green apple, pear, soft white flower and light mineral | Dry, textural Pinot Grigio with clean acidity and fine structure | Long, citrus-and-mineral, clean close
Grilled fish, seafood risotto, trout with butter and herbs, and fresh northern Italian cheeses; a working cellar-list Friuli Pinot Grigio.
