Domaine Cauhapé Jurançon Ballet d'Octobre 2020

"Henri Ramonteu took over the family parcels in 1980 and built Domaine Cauhapé into the recognised reference for Jurançon, the south-western French appellation in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The estate covers around 40 hectares planted predominantly to Petit Manseng (the higher-acid, late-ripening variety used for the appellation's headline sweet wines) and Gros Manseng (the dry-wine workhorse, with Gros Manseng Sec gaining in international currency).

Foie gras, Roquefort, fruit tarts, Pyrénéan hard cheeses and dessert-course service; a cellar-tier demi-doux Jurançon for laying down 5-10 years.
