Feudi del Pisciotto Nero d'Avola Sicilia DOC 2020 — the 2020 vintage from the Caltanissetta estate, a riper and fuller expression of the variety than the 2021.

Made at Feudi del Pisciotto, a family estate in the Niscemi/Caltanissetta area of central Sicily, farming Nero d'Avola, Grillo and Frappato on the calcareous clay soils of the Sicilian interior. Nero d'Avola from estate vineyards; fermented in stainless steel and briefly aged in large oak. The 2020 vintage's warm conditions produced a generous, full-bodied Nero d'Avola with richer fruit than the 2021.
