Lake Breeze Malbec 2023

Sourced from Langhorne Creek, a region long celebrated for producing Malbec of genuine depth and plushness, benefiting from the tempering influence of Lake Alexandrina breezes and the region's fertile soils. Fermented in open vats with regular pump-overs, then matured in a combination of French and American oak. Deep ruby-violet in the glass with an expressive nose of dark plum, blackcurrant, cacao and violets. The palate is generous and round with ripe dark berry fruit, velvety tannins, a mid-palate of chocolate and spice, and a long, satisfying finish. A classic expression of Langhorne Creek Malbec from one of Australia's most consistently praised boutique wineries.
