Montalbera Fuori Catalogo Piemonte Rosso DOC 2016 — a Piedmontese red from the Monferrato estate, a cellar-tier release from the 2016 vintage in the broad Piemonte Rosso DOC.
Made at Montalbera, a family estate in Castagnole Monferrato in the Asti province, producing wines from Ruché, Nebbiolo and other Piedmontese varieties across the Monferrato hills. A Piemonte Rosso DOC blend from the 2016 vintage; the broad Piemonte Rosso appellation permits multiple Piedmontese red varieties. Aged in oak for structure before release. Varietal composition to be confirmed from producer documentation.
