Terlano Kreuth Chardonnay 2021

Made at Cantina Terlano in Terlano (Alto Adige / Südtirol), a growers' cooperative founded in 1893 whose 143 member families farm steep, south-facing porphyry and volcanic soils in the central Alto Adige valley; Cantina Terlano is known for long-lived white wines — particularly Pinot Bianco — whose quality and cellar potential are unusual for the price. Chardonnay from the Kreuth single-vineyard; fermented dry and aged for 12+ months on fine lees with large-format oak influence for texture and complexity while retaining freshness.
