Tomfoolery Trouble and Strife Cabernet Franc Rose 2026

100% Cabernet Franc sourced from a premium single vineyard on the border of Bethany and Vine Vale in the Barossa Valley, grown by sixth-generation grape growers the Hage family on a flat site of varying depths of sand and sandy loams over red clays and shale at 316 metres above sea level. Handpicked at optimum ripeness, gently destemmed to keep as many whole berries as possible, then soaked on skins for 12-24 hours to capture the essence of the fruit with fine tannins before being gently pressed and fermented. Elegantly subtle rose pink in colour. The bouquet shows grenadine and raspberry aromas with aromatic rosehip high notes and subtle cinnamon spice. Crisp, dry and refreshing on the palate with wild strawberries, redcurrants and rose petal florals, balanced by juicy acidity and finishing with a hint of vanilla spice.
