Angelo Negro Nebbiolo 2022 — the estate's approachable Roero or Langhe Nebbiolo, the earlier-drinking introduction to the variety from this Roero-based producer.
Made by Angelo Negro & Figli, a family estate based in Monteu Roero in the Roero DOCG zone, across the Tanaro river from the Langhe; the estate farms the Roero hills and also sources fruit from the Serralunga d'Alba commune for Barolo. Nebbiolo from estate vineyards in the Roero hills; fermented in stainless steel and aged in large oak, producing an accessible expression of the variety ahead of the Barolo tier.
