Moorilla Praxis Pinot Noir 2024

Bright, pale ruby and beautifully perfumed. Sour cherry and cranberry open onto rosewater and Turkish delight; the palate is fresh and juicy — redcurrant, pomegranate and crunchy raspberry — finishing dry and savoury with fine tannins and a hint of spice. Elegant, playful and very easy to drink.

Fruit from five Pinot clones (MV6, 777, 115, 114 and Lyre) at Moorilla's St Matthias vineyard in the Tamar Valley, picked between 7 and 26 March 2024 and given seven months in French oak, 16% new, for softer, silkier tannins. pH 3.28, TA 7.81 g/L.
