Chugoku Jozo is a Japanese distillery based in Hiroshima, producing Togouchi whisky a blended Japanese whisky that matures in a disused 261-metre railway tunnel through a mountain in the Hiroshima prefecture. The tunnel provides naturally stable temperature and humidity conditions year-round, which the distillery uses as a passive maturation chamber.
