Description
An 18% rose-petal liqueur — the floral end of Vedrenne's range, sitting alongside violet and elderflower as a perfumed cocktail modifier.
Distilled and bottled in Nuits-Saint-Georges in the Côte-d'Or, made by cold maceration of the fruit in neutral alcohol in rotating stainless-steel vats, away from light and air, then sweetened with dry sugar only.
Nose: Fresh rose petal, lifted floral. Palate: Sweet rose, soft and perfumed. Finish: Long, floral.
Pairing: Used in gin-and-rose Martinis, lychee-rose builds, sparkling-wine cocktails and Middle-Eastern-leaning desserts; works as a finishing rinse on stirred drinks.
