Distillerie et Domaines de Provence (operating as Distillerie de Forcalquier) is based in Forcalquier, Haute-Provence the centre of the Provencal aromatic plant trade, where lavender, thyme, rosemary, sage, and hundreds of garrigue herbs have been commercially cultivated and processed for centuries. Henri Bardouin Pastis is made from 65 plants and spices from the garrigue widely regarded as the most botanically complex pastis on the market and the artisan reference point for the category. The Forcalquier absinthe uses Provencal-sourced wormwood and botanicals rather than the traditional Pontarlier alpine selection, producing a distinctly Mediterranean character. Fill glass 2/3 with crushed ice. Add all ingredients. Swizzle and top with more ice. Garnish with mint and orchid, serve with a reusable (bamboo) straw.

Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice. Double strain into a chilled glass.

Stir all ingredients with ice until very cold. Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a lemon twist.

10 ml sugar syrup
30 ml chilled waterMethod
Shake all ingredients with crushed ice until well chilled. Pour everything into a chilled rocks glass (do not strain). Garnish with a mint sprig.
